Cover included different colored versions of Hermann Zapf and metal types.
This page has several samples of different versions in the Palatino typeface family. Some of the fonts I was not able to find a sample online so I downloaded pictures and used brushes instead, to make up for the pixel lost when using magic wand.
Palatino in use.
To avoid making the entire book too busy, I set the pictures black-and-white at first and used a tone of reddish brown.
I started this project on Nov.8th 2014, the 96th birthday of the German typeface designer, Hermann Zapf. All fonts used for text in the book were designed by Hermann Zapf or the product of his collaboration with others.
